StoryWall® – Inspiring the Next Generation
We truly believe that children are the future, and encouraging them to engage in learning and literature independently is so important for their learning and development. Being able to engage independently has been the focus of creating our StoryWall®. Here are some of the design elements we have incorporated.
Low and easy-to-reach shelves – making the reading materials accessible for children to reach is the start of independent reading and study. Our shelves go right to floor level, so children of any age are included.
Shelf and storage styles – although traditional shelves are best for storing plenty of books, showing the spine alone isn’t great for encouraging book selection. That’s why our StoryWalls® have options for book displays where the cover is on show. This helps children to select new books and also recognise their favourites.
Cubby holes and seating caves – Something that our StoryWalls® are known for is their integrated seating areas. These little cubby holes are perfect for little readers to feel immersed and safe whilst flicking through a book.
Bright colours and clean designs – of course, we incorporate colours and designs to suit your style. This is great for encouraging children to read.
Sensory elements – some of our StoryWalls® also include sensory elements like lights and different materials to encourage learning on all levels.
